Getting Here

Situated six miles north of Dunoon on the A815, our Dunoon lodges are conveniently located for those travelling from Glasgow and beyond. Whether you choose to drive or take the ferry, our lodges are easily accessible.

From Glasgow, you have two options:

1. Arriving by Car

Take the A82 towards Crianlarich, following the western side of Loch Lomond. Continue north until you reach Tarbet, where you will turn onto the A83 towards Inverary. After passing Cairndow, turn left onto the A815, following the road along Loch Fyne. Lamont Lodges will be on your left, just past Benmore Botanical Gardens. This scenic route will take roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes.

2. Arriving by Ferry

You can also opt for a faster route through Gourock. The Western Ferries operate a regular service from Hunter's Quay across to McInroy's Point, just north of Dunoon. From the ferry terminal, it's a quick 10-minute drive to our lodges. If you're travelling by train or bicycle, the passenger-only ferry from Gourock train station directly to Dunoon pier is a convenient option.

Ferry tickets are available on board but can be purchased at a lower price from Paul's Food & Wine in Gourock. For those cycling from Glasgow, National Cycle Route 75 connects directly to Gourock and provides easy access to our lodges once you arrive at the other side of the Clyde.
